All the Digital Learning Teams at UAL came together for a meeting based around the theme of ‘Learning Design’ yesterday. The meeting started with a presentation from Darren and Elena on UAL’s Inclusive Blended Design toolkit and how it was being used at LCC.

Distance Learning Service Framework (including ABC DL) at CSM: Jorge Freire gave an overview of the course design and development toolkit and service the CSM DL Team uses for distance learning (with examples of adapted ABC Learning Design storyboards in Miro and paper, work in progress and finished courses). UAL Online’s approach to LD: Yasi and Pete (UAL Online Learning Designers) did an excellent interactive workshop where they shared common learning design challenges and participants will be invited to discuss potential solutions. Here are their slides:

Anti-Racism tool for digital education. Finally, Katie & Anu gave a presentation on ‘Anti-racism tools for digital education’: LCC x CCW to share activities and learnings from their joint anti-racism practice sharing day held in May.
