Youngstown State University President Bill Johnson shares plans for expansion

In a Friday meeting with Jefferson County superintendents, Youngstown State University President Bill Johnson affirmed his commitment to an expansion of education in the Steubenville region. This expansion could even come in the form of a physical campus.

Johnson seized the opportunity to assure the county’s educational leaders of YSU’s “unwavering commitment” to seamlessly transition the College Credit Plus (CCP) programs from Eastern Gateway to YSU.

Johnson announced that YSU has taken significant steps toward establishing a physical campus in Steubenville.
