Navitas opens first pathway at French b-school

Navitas has entered the French international education sector as it revealed a 10-year partnership with ICN Business School.

Some 38% of ICN's 3,300 student community is international

The ICN International College is planned to open on the business school’s campus in Paris in Autumn 2024.

It will cater to students seeking foundation and pre masters programs in the areas of Business and Management, with opportunities to progress to ICN campuses in Paris, Nancy and – subject to visa requirements – Berlin.

The partners say as host of the headquarters of many global organisations and Europe’s largest public transport hub, the French capital is a “unique and attractive place to study”.

ICN Business School has existed for close to 120 years and is ranked the 36th Business school in the Financial Times 2023.

Its mission is to train individuals with an ArtTechnologyManagement profile, regardless of their academic background or nationality, according to Florence Legros, ICN dean and managing director.

ICN’s ArtTechnologyManagement pedagogy refers to the trans-disciplinarity education offered at its schools specialising in engineering, art, architecture and design.

“Recruiting our future international students and inviting them to participate in our certified programs, accredited by EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB, and labelled sustainable development CSR, is an even greater obligation [for us],” Legros said.

“Alongside the 230 employees of our school, [students] will have the certainty of studying with a high-performing faculty and, more importantly, receiving specific support for a seamless integration into their daily lives. We will be their new family! Openness, commitment, and team spirit are now their new ambitions.”

“Higher education in France offers international students an exceptional opportunity”

For Navitas, which in recent years has stepped up operations in Germany and maintained operations in the Netherlands, the new partnership further cements the company’s commitment to mainland Europe.

“Students who join ICN International College will be surrounded by world-class industry, with access to a vast range of experts and more than 40 student associations,” Paul Lovegrove, Navitas University Partnerships Europe CEO & Global COO, said.

“Higher education in France offers international students an exceptional opportunity to study in a vibrant, dynamic student-friendly environment, with business programs that are internationally recognised for their academic excellence. I am delighted that we can offer this experience.”

ICN’s broader network includes nearly 130 partner universities worldwide and 150 corporate partners. Some 38% of its 3,300 student community is international and it has some 22,000 alumni.
