Dr. Brandi P. Jones, University of Southern California

Dr. Brandi P. Jones researches the experiences of minoritized and marginalized communities in science and engineering. She is chief of staff and chief operating officer for the University of Southern California Race and Equity Center, where she leads partnerships with corporations and educational organizations to illuminate, disrupt, and dismantle racism and inequities. Jones — who is considered a thought leader in STEM diversity, equity, and inclusion — also invests her skills in reaching out to communities with limited access and resources through programs like Young Engineering & Science Scholars Program, Upward Bound, College Aspiration Partnership Program, ChickTech, and IndeedWeCode.
