Following her retirement as president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in July 2022, Jackson continued to have an impact on academia, industry, and public service. Jackson was a 2009 recipient of the Dr. John Hope Franklin Award but was recognized at this year’s American Council on Education (ACE) annual meeting in Washington, D.C.
