Pruitt -Logan’s career of contribution to higher education began at Howard University in 1950 as Resident Intern and Women’s Counselor. She later held the positions of Dean of Women and Dean of Students at Albany State College in Georgia and in a similar position at Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee.
