Sector welcomes new US STEM OPT guidance

A list of eight new majors will now be eligible for a program allowing international students to work in the US for three years post-graduation, replacing the prior one-year limit, in a new US government announcement. DHS had previously published the addition of 22 qualifying fields of study to the STEM list in 2022.
