Cleveland State University Drops John Marshall From Law School’s Name

The Cleveland-Marshall College of Law will now be known as the CSU College of Law, according to a university news release. The decision comes after an ad hoc committee recommended the university rebrand the law school to cut association with Marshall due to his history of owning enslaved people.
