Johanna Bond Bond is currently the tenured Sydney and Frances Lewis Professor of Law at the Washington and Lee University School of Law and an affiliate faculty member in the university’s Africana Studies and the women’s, gender, and sexuality studies programs.

Testy has been appointed executive director and CEO of the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). Testy, the current president and CEO of the Law School Admission Council, begins her new role effective July 1. She also chaired the planning committee for the AALS Workshop for New Law School Teachers in 2010.

The Howard University law professor and dean has been named Mount Holyoke College’s first permanent Black female president in the institution’s 186-year history. Under her leadership, the law school increased its national profile, created new programming and pulled in more funding and resources.
