It was part of a growth strategy, to reach more students through training external agents and counsellors. Fast forward to 2011 and the British Council was no longer funded by the PMI to train agents. We now have nearly 20,000 agents and counsellors from more 129 countries registered on our agent hub.

ICEF to deliver British Council Agent Training

The British Council’s Agent Training program will be delivered on the e-learning platform ICEF Academy, it has been announced. The Agent Training and Engagement Hub was launched in December 2022 by the British Council to help education advisors and agents learn more about the UK as a top international study destination.
