Washington is dean of the nascent Honors College. They are a student population that’s not been thought of much for Honors.

If a faculty member is assigned more teaching and/or more service, and has less time available for scholarship, they should be evaluated accordingly. The criteria should be read aloud, prior to evaluating that dimension.
