College Fund Offers American Indian Law School Scholarship to Attend Harvard Law

The American Indian College Fund has announced its third American Indian Law School Scholarship for a student entering Harvard Law School in the fall of 2024. Samantha Maltais, an enrolled member of the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head/Aquinnah on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, is the current scholarship recipient.

Point Foundation Increases Support as LGBTQ+ Scholarship Applications Continue to Rise

Since its inception 21 years ago, the Point Foundation has become the largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ+ college students in the country. In the 2018-2019 academic year, the organization awarded scholarships to 98 students. At one time, the organization received over 1,500 applications for only 20 scholarships.

Numbers of African students in China expected to grow as ties increase

The country’s Ministry of Education data shows that over 81,000 African students were studying in the country in 2018, representing 16.5% Out of the number, 63,041, some 12.8%, included thousands of Africans were on Chinese government scholarships.
