ACU launches new marine scholarships

Scholarships for marine science research degrees driven by the Association of Commonwealth Universities have been announced for students from Ghana, India, Bangladesh and Belize. There will be a total of 56 scholarships available under the program, and will fund “a range of courses” in the area of marine science.

Scholarships attracting African students to Turkey

The number of African students studying in colleges and universities in Turkey has risen significantly over the past few years. During a December 2021 summit with African heads of state, president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan disclosed that Turkey had awarded 14,000 scholarships to African students, and had trained close to 250 African diplomats.
